Charles Johnson: that's a fine piece of work!
As the Rathergate saga flashed to white hot intensity in the blogosphere yesterday, Charles Johnson, of Little Green Footballs was throwing on the coal and fanning the flames. He produced an 99.98% identical document of the memo with standard Microsoft Word. He then superimposed his production over an electronic copy. He has carried the process one step further with an animated GIF.
WHAT is the deal? How much clearer can it be? Why is Mr Rather sticking to his guns (which are pointed at his head)?
LGF was already prominent. Yesterday, the blog tipped over into the 'public' realm of the MSM, due to the tenacity with which it hung on the bloodied heels of giant CBS.
