Bunker Buster Symposium

We cannot give the power of the Presidency to Kerry. This man opposed Reagan's every move to modernize the nuclear theatre in the early '80s. Had Kerry's minority position won the day then, where would we be. Would there be a free eastern Europe? An EU?

Right now the president is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to research bunker-busting nuclear weapons. The United States is pursuing a new set of nuclear weapons. It doesn't make sense.When you stop and think about what Kerry has said, and you think about the might and honor of the United States, and you think about the evil in the world now...it makes all the sense in the world to pursue these weapons with all possible speed.
You talk about mixed messages. We're telling other people, "You can't have nuclear weapons," but we're pursuing a new nuclear weapon that we might even contemplate using.
Not this president. I'm going to shut that program down, and we're going to make it clear to the world we're serious about containing nuclear proliferation.

I agree with you. We cannot let the Presidency go to John Kerry. I was infuriated during the debate when he used former President Ronald Reagan's name in an attempt to identify himself with greatness. Wasn't he the heartless person who called Ronald Reagan's presidency "Moral Darkness"? During the debate, he was trying to be someone we all know he's not.
