Military Draft in 2005?
Can you say balderdash? Rumors an innuendo, compliments of Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY).

The Selective Service further says that "...both the President and the Secretary of Defense have stated on more than one occasion that there is no need for a draft for the War on Terrorism or any likely contingency, such as Iraq. Additionally, the Congress has not acted on any proposed legislation to reinstate a draft."
I heard part of a Fox interview with Rumsfelt yesterday. He was asked the question, and he just shook his head, chuckled, and (again) adamantly denied it. I believe him. It's just another example of the same old Dem fear-mongering.
