More Evidence Daschle on Ropes
The results of this Zogby poll has Daschle's lead over Thune at 47.8 - 45.5. Read: "a statistical dead heat." Not quite as optimistic as this recent GOP-sponsored poll, but nonetheless significant. A May 19-20 Zogby effort put Daschle in a command position over his challenger -- 52-39.
It's incredibly difficult to defeat an incumbent Senator, much less a leading mouthpiece for the liberal Dem front. Take heart, and fight the good fight, Mr Thune.
